Surrogacy Process
The timeline from your initial application to the start of your Transfer Cycle can be as short as 9 weeks. Here’s an overview of the steps involved:
1
Application
(20 minutes)
Complete a single application form to help us get to know you better.
2
Consultation
(24-48 Hours)
If you qualify, one of our team members will contact you within 24-48 hours to schedule a video consultation. We’ll discuss how we can best assist you in finding the right match and review any questions from your application. This is also your chance to ask us any questions or address any concerns.
3
Pre-Screening
(2-4 Weeks)
- **Medical Record Review:** We’ll assess your OB/GYN and delivery history to ensure you don’t have high-risk factors. - **Psychological Evaluation:** You and your partner will undergo an evaluation to ensure you're mentally prepared and have a strong support system for the journey. - **Background Check:** We’ll run a criminal background check to ensure there are no serious offenses. (We’re not concerned with credit or minor issues like parking tickets.) - **Insurance Verification:** We’ll verify whether your insurance covers surrogacy. If it does, you’ll receive an additional bonus. If not, don’t worry—we’ll arrange insurance for you. You’ll also sign our agency contract and compensation agreement.
4
Matching with Intended Parents
(2 Weeks)
We’ll find a potential match for you and arrange a video call with the intended parents. You have the full right to accept or decline any match based on your preferences. (*The actual match time depends on both your and the intended parents’ criteria.)
5
Medical Clearance
(4-6 Weeks)
You’ll visit the intended parents’ IVF clinic for a medical screening. We handle all logistics to ensure the process is smooth and stress-free.
6
Legal Clearance
(2-4 Weeks)
Both you and the intended parents will review and sign the legal contract, ensuring your financial protection. We’ll connect you with an expert lawyer to represent you.
7
Embryo Transfer
(5-8 Weeks)
Once medical and legal clearances are complete, the intended parents’ IVF clinic will begin preparing for the embryo transfer. You’ll start medication and attend monitoring appointments in preparation for the transfer. Once your body is ready, the clinic will confirm the transfer date.
8
Pregnancy
(40 Weeks)
Around 2 weeks after the embryo transfer, a pregnancy test will confirm the result. Within 6-10 weeks, the first ultrasound will confirm the heartbeat, and you’ll be released to your OB for further care. You’ll carry the pregnancy to full term, approximately 40 weeks, for delivery.
